Mission & Purpose —

We are grounded in a simple belief: artists matter, and community matters.

Art is not separate from our lives—it lives in our stories, our voices, and our shared experiences.

Our mission is to create inclusive, accessible spaces where artists are seen, heard, and supported. Through music, poetry, visual art, and performance, we bring people together to build connection, cultural expression, and community.

As artists, residents, and community builders, we are committed to strengthening Lemon Grove, expanding creative opportunities across generations, and fostering a deep sense of belonging.

At our core, we believe creativity belongs to everyone. And when we invest in the arts, we invest in a stronger, more vibrant, and more connected community.

Who Are We?

The Lemon Grove Arts Collective is a community-based organization of artists, residents, and cultural builders dedicated to nurturing creativity, amplifying local voices, and strengthening community connection through accessible arts programming in music, poetry, visual art, and performance.

BE ART

Be Art in Lemon Grove is a creative movement turning local voices and lived experience into shared art. It creates space for people to be seen, heard, and connected through music, poetry, and storytelling. At its core, it affirms that creativity belongs to everyone and already lives in the community.
