As a Lemon Grove Homeowner for over 25 years with a long career as a trial technician (litigation support technology), my artwork is a way to unwind and relax between long, frequently out of town assignments.  My backyard woodshop is set up for turning bowls, cups, mugs, and whatever strikes my fancy at the time.  I also perform as Santa Claus professionally, so my woodworking hobby fits right in with that persona.

When asked how to purchase some of my artwork, or if I would make something specific, my answer isn't what most people expect... I don't do commissions.  Once I start taking "orders" for pieces, it starts to become work and is no longer an enjoyable hobby.  However, when I do make things, they accumulate on my display shelf at home and so occasionally, I will setup at a community display booth and offer pieces for sale.  The majority of my work ends up bing gifted to people, though.

My work can be viewed at SantaGriz.com and there are links there to my facebook page if you are interested in watching me socially.  A calendar of upcoming appearances, either as Santa Claus or to show off my woodworking artwork, is also kept up to date on that site.

My other passion is my touring motorcycle and occasionally taking trips through the mountains or across the country, but that's not art, that's pure fun.
